Recently, China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park (CMQIP) Management Committee and CAWM Cold Chain Logistics Co. Ltd. (CAWMCC) jointly held a signing ceremony for project cooperation. Gao Pu, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Qinzhou Municipal Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the CMQIP Management Committee, signed a memorandum of cooperation on project investment with Lin Moyang, President of CAWMCC. The signing of this project is conducive to the introduction and development of the production enterprises, manufacturing enterprises, logistics enterprises and service supporting enterprises in cold chain to realize industrial cluster development, so as to further give play to the advantages of the new international land-sea trade channel and create a new pattern of international interconnection and cooperation.
According to the agreement, the two sides will establish a strategic partnership, jointly establish an international company for production capacity cooperation and investment, participate in the investment and construction of “Belt and Road” Initiative Projects such as halal food industry and cold chain international logistics base, and promote the cooperation in supply chain finance and park development financing. The two sides will also jointly set up the investment promotion company, carry out investment promotion for the international cold chain logistics base, and help CAWMCC introduce supporting industrial chain projects, which are related to both the upstream and downstream of cold chain logistics, to settle in the park.
