In midwinter, the government of Qinnan District and Guangdong Changhuan Investment Group have entered a contract to invest 0.5 billion RMB for the Changhuan Agricultural Industrial Park Project in the Business Incubator for Taiwan Farmers (BITF) in the Qinnan District.
The project is about to cover an area of 12,000 mu in Jiulong Town of Qinnan District, with a total investment of 0.5 billion yuan. It aims to realize industrialization, marketization, and highly ecological and technical process. The park will focus on efficient farming and processing, logistics and distribution, demonstration and generalization, popularization of science and training, ecological construction, information sharing, and tourism. To be more specific, the park mainly includes five areas, namely, characteristic farming area, processing and logistics area for safe agricultural products, display area for high-tech agricultural scientific research, ecotourism area and integrated management service area.
The park is expected to achieve an annual turnover of 462 million yuan, annual profit of 177 million yuan, annual income tax of 44.153 million yuan, annual business and additional tax of 19.15 million yuan upon completion. The park will be built into a modern agriculture demonstration park in southern China, a demonstration area for modern agricultural science technology in Guangxi, and a regional production base for secure and high-quality agricultural products.
