Qinzhou is a coastal city located in south Guagnxi, standing at the tip of Beibu Gulf. It is the center of the city cluster of Nanning, Beihai, Qinzhou and Fangchenggang, with Nanning city 110 km to it's north, Beihai city 98 km to the east and Fangchenggang city 76 km to the west. Enjoying these advantages, Qinzhou has become the transportation hub of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, the forefront city of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, as well as the most convenient sea gateway for Southwest China.

Qinzhou has jurisdiction over two counties: Lingshan county and Pubei county, and four districts: Qinnan district, Qinbei district, Qinzhou Port Economic & Technological Development Zone and Sanniangwan Tourism Zone.
